Services > FHA Connection - Casefile
FHA Connection - Casefile screen is used to assign FHA case numbers without leaving the LOS. This screen will appear in the Services section of the left-side navigation when the Mortgage Applied For = FHA on the 1003 > Terms tab. The FHA Connection integration has the ability to query casefile status to determine completion of the casefile assignment process and uses the FHA Lender ID or FHA Sponsor ID from the 1003 > Government tab.
The FHA Connection – Casefile screen is divided into the following 3 sections:
· Property Information
· Condo Information
· Hope Loan Information
· Submission Settings
Property Information section has the following fields for the user to complete (as applicable):
· Compliance Inspector – select compliance inspector from drop-down list.
· Processing Type – select processing type from drop-down list.
· Month/Year Property Completed – enter date.
· ADP Code – enter ADP code or click Help hyperlink for assistance.
· Field Office – select field office from drop-down list (defaults to Albany, NY).
· Case Type – select case type from drop-down list.
· Was this case previously sold as Real Estate Owned (previously sold by HUD)? – answer question by making selection from drop-down list (defaults to No).
· 203k Consultant ID – enter ID for 203k Consultant.
Condo Information section has the following fields for the user to complete (as applicable):
· Subdivision/PUD/Condo ID – enter Subdivision/PUD/Condo ID or click Help hyperlink for assistance.
· Project Class – select project class from drop-down menu.
· Is this property a spot lot? – answer question by making selection from drop-down list.
Hope Loan Information section has the following fields for the user to complete (as applicable):
· Mortgage Provider – select mortgage provider from drop-down list.
· Loan Product – select loan product from drop-down list.
· First Payment – enter date of first payment.
Tip: The date fields may be entered manually or by utilizing the calendar icon to the right of the field.
Submission Settings section is where the user can check the box to certify that the lender associated with this case number request has an active loan application for this property address and listed borrower(s), select the FHA Connection Service Type from the drop-down menu (defaults to Case Number Assignment), and enter the FHA Connection User Account and FHA Connection User Password. The user can also select Add, Update or Query from drop-down list when Case Number Assignment is the FHA Connection Service Type (defaults to Add).
Tip: FHA Connection User Account and FHA Connection User Password can be setup in the Administrative site and users won’t be required to manually enter the credentials on the FHA Connection – Casefile screen.
Click Save to save the information updated on the FHA Connection – Casefile screen.
Click Submit to submit the requested FHA Connection Service Type. The assigned casefile number will automatically populate to the 1003 > Government tab > Agency Case Number field.
Click Close to return to the Loan Dashboard.
