Forms & Docs > Lock Extension
After a loan is locked, the option for Lock Extension becomes available in the left-side navigation under Forms & Docs.
Enter the required New Estimated Closing Date and select the number of days for the lock extension. Lock extension days and corresponding price adjustments display based on Lock Extension Periods setup in Admin.
Tip: Lock Extension Periods are setup in Admin under Product & Pricing > Rules > Rule Type = Lock Extension Period.
Click Cancel to discard changes and not complete a lock extension.
Click Extend Lock to complete the lock extension.
Lock Confirmation screen will display to show the new lock information and any pricing adjustments for the lock extension. See the chapter on Lock and Registration Screens for detailed information on the Lock Confirmation screen.
