Welcome to LOS Help!
LOS Help is designed to assist both Originator and Lender users in navigating a loan file within MortgagebotLOS™ from origination through post-closing. This chapter will demonstrate how to best utilize the manual to its full advantage.
Enter LOS Help by clicking the Question Mark icon in the upper right corner of any screen within the LOS, and selecting LOS Help. The manual will open in a separate browser window, allowing a user to toggle between the LOS and the manual for optimal efficiency while working within the LOS. LOS Help may be closed at any time and will not impact the user’s current LOS session.
LOS Help is separated into a left-side navigation menu and a top navigation bar, with the display screen populating the right majority of the screen.
1. TOC is the default view when entering LOS Help and displays all of the chapters of reference data within the manual as book icons with chapter title links. Clicking on any book icon or title link will display the chapter in the right display screen and expand the book to show any subchapters. Nearly all chapters within TOC will include a User Rights Tied to… and Statuses Driven By… subchapter. These are primarily used by system administrators to assist with configuration changes within the Administration (Admin) Site of the LOS.
2. Index contains a list of all terms and paths referenced throughout the Help files. A keyword search functionality is featured above the listed terms.
3. The Search functionality allows the user to filter through all of the chapters within the TOC for a specific keyword or phrase. Click on Search and enter a keyword or phrase, and a total number of search results will display below the search bar. A ranking filter is available so that users are able to see where the keyword/phrase appears the most in any chapter or subchapter. An additional title filter allows users to sort the chapters alphabetically.
