FraudGuard is fraud risk detection and data integrity solution that allows users to verify the information a borrower submits on a loan application.
Users can submit a request to FraudGuard to receive a report that will identify any possible risks posed by a borrower, property, and any third party involved.
Tip: FraudGuard reports may be submitted by users prior to and after the final of a loan with the appropriate user right enabled.
Loan Information section displays basic borrower information including the Borrower’s Name, Borrower’s SSN, Loan Number, the Loan Amount, and Property Address.
Users will need to establish a FraudGuard account and obtain a username and password in order to use this service.
Enter the FraudGuard username and password and click the Submit button.
If any required fields are missing within the LOS to generate a FraudGuard Report, the system will prompt users to complete the necessary fields.
To view the FraudGuard Report click the view icon next to Services > Order FraudGuard or by Clicking Services > Order FraudGuard and clicking the Here link (Click Here to view the FraudGuard report.)
A note will display at the top of the Order FraudGuard Report screen stating:
A FraudGuard Report has already been requested for this loan and is available
for viewing.
Date of Request will generate the date and time that the FraudGuard Report request was submitted.
FraudGuard Report Results will be divided into three sections, the Summary Information section, Borrower Results section and the Property Results Section.
The Summary information section will provide the Loan Number, Overall Score and Status, Patriot OFAC Status and the Number of times scored.
The Borrower Results section will list the Overall Score and Status, and will post any potential issues that need to be addressed based on the systems information validation results. Each potential issue will list the issue, its category, code, if it has high impact, if it is cleared, trackable, and any recommendations.
The Property Results section will display the Property Score and Status, the Property AVM Values (Low, medium and High) and the property Confidence Score.
The Click Here to log on to FraudGuard, Here link is available for users to click. If clicked, then the system will redirect the users to the login page for FraudGuard’s website.
