Flood Hazard displays the flood zone information for a property location and indicates whether or not flood insurance will be required. This data will automatically populate when ordering a flood certificate through the LOS (see LOS Help > Order Flood) or it may be entered manually.
If the flood certification is ordered through the LOS the State Code, County Code, MSA Code, and Census Tract fields will not be editable, unless the applicable user right is enabled.
The State Code, County Code, MSA Code and Census Tract will populate to the Reports > HMDA Report in the top navigation menu.
Flood Hazard screen may be edited before and after the loan has been placed in Final status.
Data from the Flood Hazard screen will auto-populate into the following fields:
· Appraisal Request > Additional Information > Flood Zone
· Title Request > Additional Information > Flood Zone
· Hazard Insurance Request > Additional Information > Flood Zone & Type of Insurance
· Closing Docs > Escrow tab > Flood Zone is in and Is Property in a special flood hazard area
