The Patriot Act screen allows the user to create and edit identification information for the borrowers on a loan. Users may edit this information before and after the loan is Finaled, with the applicable user right. This information passes to the Document Provider and will populate the Patriot Act Disclosure form.

 

To add a new identification line, click Add Item.

 

Choose which borrower the new line item is to be applied to on this loan file under the Identification For drop-down field.

 

Type of ID includes the following options:

 

·         Driver License

 

·         State ID

 

·         Passport

 

·         Alien Registration

 

·         Corporate Resolutions

 

·         Social Security Card

 

·         Other (*Opens up the Other Description field for manual data entry.)

 

Complete the new identification line item by entering an ID Number, Issuing State, Country, Date Issued and Expiration Date.

 

Tip: The date fields may be entered manually or by utilizing the calendar icon to the right of the field.

 

Click Save Item to save your new identification data.

Click Cancel to discard all changes made to this screen.

Click Close to close the Patriot Act screen.

 

To edit an existing identification line item, click Edit next to the desired ID line and make changes within the screen. Click Update Item.

 

To delete an existing identification line item, click Delete.

 

Tip: Clicking Delete will immediately remove the line item from the file, without a prompt for confirmation of the action.
