Government Monitoring drop-down list and check box options will display for each borrower. Multiple check boxes can be marked in the Race section if applicable.
If the check box for “I do not wish to furnish this information” is marked and “This application was taken by” drop-down list in the Interviewer Information section displays Face-to-Face then a message window will display to notify the user to complete Ethnicity, Gender and Race fields based on observation since the application was taken Face-to-Face. Click OK to navigate to a new tab or click Cancel to return to the Government Monitoring Tab to complete missing fields.
The Interviewer Information section will populate with the Originator and Institution information. If system settings include Pre-approvals in HMDA reporting, there will be a Pre-approval Requested drop-down list to track loans that are/were pre-approvals.
Based on Admin Site settings, the Interview Date field will be passed to the Doc Providers as the application date. If this field will not be used as the application date then the date that passes to the Doc Providers will be the 1003 > Signature Tab > Signature Date.
Tip: Site Administrators can help identify which field must be filled out for the application date.
The Interview Date field is important for compliance testing. This will be the date used to track the following Compliance Alerts:
· RESPA 3 Day Disclosure Delivery
· TILA 7 Day Disclosure Delivery Waiting Period
· ECOA Decision Notice Delivery
If a loan has been marked as a Pre-approval on the 1003 > Property Tab or the Borrower Summary, then the Interview Date will have to be manually input once the Pre-approval check box is unmarked.
